BEA is over and now just a lovely memory – Bette Lee Crosby

Bette with her banner at BEABEA is over and now just a lovely memory.

Coral and I had lots of fun but it was overwhelming sometimes. I had no idea the Javitts Center was that big with a mile long hike (literally) to get to the bathroom. I got my workout for the week done in one day.

Bette signing a book at BEAI met lots of awesome librarians and people at the various companies I have been working with these past couple of years. Learned some new tricks and also gathered information about the process of getting books into libraries, which is one of our goals for this year. There were plenty of great seminars to check out and learn from too.

Article in PW at BEAIt was a wonderful trip. One of my most fun moments was spending time with Coral and getting to know about her varied accomplishments… she is WAY too modest. Did you know this gal won a grant to study the conflict between North and South Korea… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. More to come. In the meantime, thought you would enjoy seeing some pictures from the trip. It was fun but a bit hectic so glad to be home!
