Book Bloggers Virtual Conference ArmchairBEA May 2014

ArmchairBEA Banner 2014

There is nothing like going to the Book Expo of America in New York City, but if you can’t make it, there’s nothing better than going to the virtual conference, ArmchairBEA. Here is some information about the conference which is totally run by volunteers.

ArmchairBEA is the experience for book bloggers to participate in Book Expo America (BEA) from the comfort of their homes. This experience is created lovingly by book bloggers specifically for our peers who for whatever reason are not able to participate in the main conference in New York each year. We bring publishers, authors, and bloggers together in celebrating our love for all things literary by hosting celebrations such as sneak peeks, daily discussion topics, and sponsored giveaways.

CLICK HERE – to find out more about ArmchairBEA and to sign up! Also check out the sponsored giveaways. I’m happy to announce that I am sponsoring a giveaway of my books – CLICK HERE to find out more.

I’m going to be at Table 20 from 2-3pm and Booth 2368 from 3-4pm on Thursday May 29th.

I would love to see you there. If you’re not able to I will be taking lots of pictures and uploading them so follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. You can find all those links on the right.

About the author

Bette Lee Crosby

USA Today Bestselling and Award-winning novelist Bette Lee Crosby's books are "Well-crafted storytelling populated by memorable characters caught up in equally memorable circumstances." - Midwest Book Review The Seattle Post Intelligencer says Crosby's writing is, "A quirky mix of Southern flair, serious thoughts about important things in life and madcap adventures." Samantha from Reader's Favorite raves, "Crosby writes the type of book you can't stop thinking about long after you put it down." "Storytelling is in my blood," Crosby laughingly admits, "My mom was not a writer, but she was a captivating storyteller, so I find myself using bits and pieces of her voice in most everything I write." It is the wit and wisdom of that Southern Mama Crosby brings to her works of fiction; the result is a delightful blend of humor, mystery and romance along with a cast of quirky charters who will steal your heart away. Her work was first recognized in 2006 when she received The National League of American Pen Women Award for a then unpublished manuscript. She has since gone on to win nineteen awards for her work; these include: TheRoyal Palm Literary Award, the FPA President's Book Award Gold Medal, Reader's Favorite Award Gold Medal, and the Reviewer's Choice Award.
