Blogging #atozchallenge K is for Kids

K is for KidsKids, they steal your heart away and there is nothing more fun to write about. Almost every book…no, make that every book I have written either had a Kid or a dog and some have both.

Writing about kids is just out and out fun because they are so honest that they make wonderful characters. The kind you can take to heart and really route for. We can’t say that about all adults.

Eleven year old Ethan Allen from Spare Change is probably one of my top favorites. He is a tough little boy who’s had a lot of bad breaks, but he’s a survivor. He’s devious and he’s got a foul mouth, but trust me, you’ll end up loving him.  I did.

If you’ve got a favorite kid story, please leave a comment and share it. I love hearing from fans, friends and book lovers.
