Deserves more than 5 stars – The Regrets of Cyrus Dodd

Becky on Goodreads says…

The 4th book in the Wyattsville series deserves more than a five star rating. Cyrus Dodd will do anything to make his beloved Ruth happy. Even things he may regret. Cyrus is a man of great pride. He has been in a feud with a neighbor over something as little as a pig. Cyrus has a way of harboring bad feelings and his regrets. This story takes you through years of Cyrus and Ruth Dodd’s life; tragedies, blessings and yes, regrets. They had so many hardships in their lives and Cyrus always blamed himself but tried to do his best to make Ruth happy. I can’t tell you how many times I shed tears while reading his book. It just grabbed at my heart and soul. It’s a story that tells everyone, that no one is perfect, we all make mistakes, maybe we don’t make the best decisions sometimes and we all have regrets. The past is the past and can’t be brought back. But we move on and be the best we can be. We live each day to the fullest and treasure the “BLESSINGS” instead of dwelling in the regrets. This is one of my favorites from Bette Lee Crosby. She out did herself again!!
