The Arizona Sunset on Mid-Week Mixers
The Arizona Sunset is a common cocktail found in the Southeastern United States. It’s a refreshing, fruity cocktail that can be enjoyed any time of day. The tasty combination of the orange juice and Grenadine with the gentle fizz of the soda will make this a favorite!
Recipes for the drink vary and can include prickly pear cactus syrup, tequila, coconut rum, or crème de noyaux. But this nonalcoholic version can be made easily with ingredients you most likely already have in your pantry. Give it a try – I know you’ll love it!
Ingredients for 2 drinks
1 c. lemon-lime soft drink
1 c. orange juice
Maraschino cherries or orange slices for garnish (optional)
Place ice into 2 glasses and add a splash of Grenadine to each glass. In a small pitcher combine the the soft drink and orange juice together and gently stir. Slowly pour the juice mixture over the Grenadine, dividing the mixture between the two glasses. Garnish with cherries or orange slices, if desired.
