Blue Margaritas

I can definitely see having this drink poolside! The blue of the water and a blue margarita sitting on the table alongside of a chaise will have you relaxing into summer in no time. Another easy-breezy recipe that I’m adding to my “have-to-try” list! For more fun food and drink ideas, go right to the source and visit Naomi on the Pub and Grub Forum at

Blue Margarita – adapted: recipenut/

I would say to make this margarita when you want a very simple, no hassle margarita. It has 3 ingredients, so I just whipped it up to go with a Mexican dinner I was making. Look at that pretty blue! Here we go!:

3 oz Sweet and Sour
1.5 oz Blanco Tequila
.5 oz Blue Curacao
.5 oz Triple Sec

In an ice filled shaker, combine ingredients, shake for 60 seconds and pout into a chilled, salted rim glass. Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
