And the winners are…

strong_womanA CELEBRATION OF WOMEN

A giant thank you to all the gals, and a few fellows also, who entered our Celebration of Women contest. On my blog I posted an article about the strength of a woman and got so many absolutely amazing comments from the readers. I was awed by the stories of strength and heroism, some that actually made my eyes teary. Thank you all for sharing your stories.

A special salute to you, the readers who took time to enter the contest and share your stories with me and the other Her Books Authors hosting this event, without you this event could not have been so spectacular.

In addition to the iPad giveaway which was won by Linda Hendrickson, I did a $25. Amazon gift card giveaway which was won by Jess Witkins, and each of the participating authors gave away a total of 10 e-books.  Nine of my e-books were won by the following gals: Emily Davis, Suzy Thompson, Nancy Gibbins Roberts, Katherine Ivan, Tina Pyke Murrell, Amy Bevel, Marie Gonzalez, Emily Hansen, and Tina Adgali. Each of these entrants received a Kindle copy of the Award-winning novel, Spare Change.

The tenth e-book winner was perhaps the most fun of all – it happen to be a gal who is one of my fans and who I know has read and reviewed all of my books. So, I gave her the option of selecting a book from one of the other authors which I would gift her in place of one of mine, or to be the #1 person on a list of gift copies to be sent out for my upcoming release “LIBERTY JONES” The sequel to Spare Change and Book 2 in the Wyattsville Series. Happily, Jeanne Elizalde opted to be #1 on the new release list…and she now has another surprise coming…she is a character in the book. Jeanne, you are now one of the neighborhood gals at the Wyattsville Arms Apartment Building. I hope you enjoy your wonderful friends.

Bette Lee Crosby

USA Today Bestselling and Award-winning novelist Bette Lee Crosby's books are "Well-crafted storytelling populated by memorable characters caught up in equally memorable circumstances." - Midwest Book Review The Seattle Post Intelligencer says Crosby's writing is, "A quirky mix of Southern flair, serious thoughts about important things in life and madcap adventures." Samantha from Reader's Favorite raves, "Crosby writes the type of book you can't stop thinking about long after you put it down." "Storytelling is in my blood," Crosby laughingly admits, "My mom was not a writer, but she was a captivating storyteller, so I find myself using bits and pieces of her voice in most everything I write." It is the wit and wisdom of that Southern Mama Crosby brings to her works of fiction; the result is a delightful blend of humor, mystery and romance along with a cast of quirky charters who will steal your heart away.
