Fan of the Month – Becky!

Becky sent me some perfect summer reading pictures, of her reading my books of course! I enjoyed learning more about her and I'm sending her to gift card for dinner on me! If you'd like to be my Fan of the Month just scroll down to the bottom to find out how.

Here's Becky:

To tell you a little more about me, I have a twin sister. Yup, there is 2 of me! I went back to school and became a nurse at the age of 40. Now, I am retired.

This gives me plenty of time to work on my “crafts”. I paint with acrylics on canvas and at the moment working on getting ready for Christmas craft shows. I am making painted bottles (yes, wine bottles or any other kind of bottles) with Christmas lights on the inside (no, I didn't empty all the bottles!!!) and I am painting on canvas bags.

Besides my crafts, I stay busy at my church as a volunteer with things like the Food Bank, the Help Center, Welcoming Guests after Church.

I am also a grandmother. My closest grand-babies live about two hours away and I love spending time with them. My grandson who lives in Maine, is ten hours away, so I don't get to see him very often. Of course, to be a grandmother, means I have two wonderful children. Rachel is my oldest and has three children, and my son Philip lives in Maine with my grandson.

My husband, Dale, has also retired, so we love to travel. Punta Cana is our favorite place. We also love Ocean City, Maryland which is only an hour from where we live. I am going on a cruise this month with my girlfriends and then in September, my husband and I are meeting some friends in Myrtle Beach for a week!

Every spare minute I have, I am reading! I love to read! I have read every thing that you have written!!! Most of your books were read on the beach of Punta Cana! So, please keep writing!

I had already read, Spare Change; Memory House, Cracks in the Sidewalk, and Baby Girl before the trip. During the vacation, I read Jubilee Journey, Passing Through Perfect, The Loft, What the Heart Remembers, The Twelfth Child, Previously Loved Treasures, and started on Wishing for Wonderful. So, that's six books plus the start of the seventh book in one week!!! I was in Heaven!!!
