Interviewing a WWII Vet – Fun Features
This is an exciting day! I had lunch with a 90 year old gentleman who served in WW2 and became a prisoner of war. This guy was a riot. So witty and sharp as a tack. At lunch he had two straight up martinis (with a bonus that was bigger than the first pour) so it was the equivalent of four martinis and yet he was fine – you would have had to scrape me off the floor.
I am currently working on a story that takes place during WW2, so I was thrilled to have this opportunity.
Loving this book but got a long way to go. My goal is to have it finished by end of April. Then it goes to the editor…and all that other stuff. I like setting goals, it keeps me on track.
