Teresa from Goodreads gave The Twelfth Child 5 stars and a lovely review:
The enchanting story of two lonely ladies, one older and one younger, who build a relationship borne out of their unique circumstances and the need they each have for a special someone in their lives. They both give to the other freely and unselfishly. Unfortunately both are a bit naive as to the ways of the world and before the story concludes one will die and the other will find herself under attack from a greedy relative and the legal system.
Ms. Crosby has a very special gift of creating characters that one can't help but fall in loves with. They are folks who would make great neighbors or relatives. Their stories would be welcomed at family reunions or over cups of hot chocolate in front of a fireplace.
