Maria has read all of my books. I am so honored when one of my fans used a day of their precious vacation time to come and visit with me. One of the nice things about living in FL is that so many people visit our state on vacation that I have the pleasure of meeting a number of my fans and followers. What a great story to make you smile and give you hope for what you can and cannot see. Again in the 2nd book in this series Bette Crosby makes you smile when she paints her characters, the house, the town, everything you can imagine its all there her imagination is coming to life in your home!!!! Sweet Ida and Caroline and Wilbur to the mysterious Mr. Pennington and the shop for everything you need down to the nasty Joe and Max the low of the low! You love the sweet ones and despise the crumbs of the earth. I love the writing style and the tone in this book b/c when life is sometimes depressing and everything is going wrong in various directions isn't it refreshing to pick up a book and laugh and want to spit on some of nasty characters but to be able to think there is good in life! There are good people that make a difference and want to help the greater good! This book was 5+* as I couldn't put it down and read it in one day! OMG! that is a first for me really, I am usually a book a week gal. I was given an ARC of this book and the opinions above are my own. Keep them coming Bette!!!
