I can definitely see having this drink poolside! The blue of the water and a blue margarita sitting on the table alongside of a chaise will have you relaxing into summer in no time. Another easy-breezy recipe that I'm adding to my “have-to-try” list! MID-WEEK MIXERS by Naomi Blackburn
Blue Margarita – adapted: recipenut/food.com
I would say to make this margarita when you want a very simple, no hassle margarita. It has 3 ingredients, so I just whipped it up to go with a Mexican dinner I was making. Look at that pretty blue! Here we go!:
Ingredients:
3 oz Sweet and Sour
1.5 oz Blanco Tequila
.5 oz Blue Curacao
.5 oz Triple Sec
Directions:
In an ice filled shaker, combine ingredients, shake for 60 seconds and pout into a chilled, salted rim glass. Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
MMMMMMM. It’s five o’clock somewhere. Pretty blue MARGARITAS this time. ^_^
It’s always fun to have a friend stop by for a drink, so I’m glad you do. Naomi comes up with some pretty amazing drinks too.
Don’t think for a moment that the only time I drop is for another drink recipe. hehehe
I did make a note though, cuz, it sounds so goooood.
I do love a good margarita…
