How to Cook Potatoes in Cream Sauce
12 small potatoes
3 Tbs butter
3 Tbs flour
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 cup milk
1/2 cup half and half
1 Tbs fresh chives
Boil potatoes until tender. Drain.
Melt butter in a sauce pan.
Add flour, salt, pepper and stir until smooth.
Gradually stir in milk and half and half, cook, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.
Pour over potatoes and sprinkle with chives.
