Delightfully exciting news – just got the word today, Cracks in the Sidewalk is a finalist in the Florida Publisher’s 2011 President’s Book Awards. The winner will be announced at an awards banquet in Sarasota on November 5th. I’m especially honored because the book is entered in the Adult Fiction Category, which includes mysteries and romance novels and is extremely competitive.
A lot going on right now – I’ve also got an unpublished manuscript that is a finalist in the Florida Writer’s Association Royal Palm Literary Awards, the winners of that competition will also be announced at an awards banquet held in Orlando on October 22nd.
