Da’Love-Tini on Mid-Week Mixers by Naomi Blackburn (Adapted from: Food.com)

DSCN0006[1]Hey…it wouldn’t be me if there wasn’t a libation  to my Valentine’s dinner and I came across a great one on Food.com. In  researching the drink, it looks like it originated from the restaurant, The  Melting Pot. The “Love” Martini has 3 ingredients to it and looks like a whole  lotta fun.

So, here we go:

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Coconut Rum, such as Malibu
1 oz Peach Schnapps
2 oz Cranberry Juice
Red sugar rimmer (optional)

This is my super simple way to do rimmers. Have a sheet of waxed paper, aluminum foil, etc and tape it to theDSCN0004[1] table. Put your liquid in a plate and your rimmer directly onto the paper. Take your tini glass from the freezer and run the rim quickly in the liquid. Do the same thing with the rimmer and you have a professional looking rim. If you don’t intend on pouring the drinks right away, after you rim them, return them to the freezer. Coldness is the key to AWESOME  Tinis.  This works for ALL glasses.

Directions:

1) Put ice in
metal shaker and place all ingredients in shaker. Shake for 60 seconds to get it
nice and chilled.

2) Pour into prepared, chilled glass.
