How to cook Okra Pickles

3 1/2 pounds okra
14 cloves garlic
7 small red or green chili peppers
1 quart water
1 pint white vinegar
1/3 cup pickling salt
1 tbs dill seeds
Wash okra. Pack okra into 7 hot sterilized pint jars with 2 garlic cloves and a hot pepper in each jar.
Combine water, vinegar, pickling salt and dill seeds in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Pour boiling mixture over okra leaving 1/2 inch space.
Remove air bubbles and wipe jar rims.
Cover with metal lids and process in boiling-water bath for 10 minutes.
