How to cook sweet corn custard

2 cups fresh cut corn
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup shredded cheese
1/4 cup flour
4 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 cups half and half
2 tbs unsalted butter or margarine

Combine corn, eggs, and cheese in a large bowl, stirring well.
Combine flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Mix everything together and pour into a greased shallow baking dish. Place inside a larger dish and add hot water up to 1 inch.
Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 1 hour.
