Absolutely Incredible Kid Day #AIKD

I have some incredible kids in my novels: Ethan Allen from Spare Change, Jubilee from Jubilee’s Journey, the children in Cracks in the Sidewalk and The Twelfth Child. I was so happy to find out there is an Absolutely Incredible Kid Day celebrated world-wide every year (sponsored by Camp Fire).

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day reminds parents that all kids are amazing. Every child deserves the chance to feel special. Sounds like an awesome holiday! Here’s what you can do:

* Send a letter of encouragement to a kid you know and tell them how important they are.
* Support that kid by telling them how awesome he/she is and that he/she can do incredible things.

Sounds easy and fun to do!

If you’ve read one of my books that features a child as the main character, what would you tell them?
