About The Author Stories Podcast

I started the Author Stories Podcast in the fall of 2014 because I wanted to listen to authors tell their stories. I wanted to know what made creative people tick, and I am fascinated by the journey that people take to get to where they are. I looked for a podcast that fit the bill and couldn’t find one, so I started the show that I wanted to listen to. I reached out to a few authors, and they were generous with their time and wisdom. Over three years later, and now multiple shows a week, and ASP is still going strong.

In late summer 2017, the show had grown to the point that I had to have help if the show was going to keep on the growth trajectory it was on. My wife Dawn graciously agreed to come on board as full time Co-Producer of the show. Dawn brings an excitement to the show and has done a tremendous job forming and strengthening relationships with the author and publishing communities. With her help, we have increased to multiple episodes per week and the quality of our guests is stellar.

We focus on authors from all backgrounds, genres, indie or trad-pub. None of those distinctions really matter to us, we just love books and the people that make them. We hope that by showcasing authors to our audience, we help the author community, foster a love of reading, and hopefully bring some magic to the world.

Learn more about the St. Lucie Voice

St. Lucie Voice is a community newspaper mailed each week to all 14,600 homes and businesses in zip codes 34986 (St. Lucie West) and 34987 (Tradition).

It provides hyperlocal coverage of the rapidly growing area west of the Florida Turnpike in St. Lucie County, Florida, and affords advertisers a unique opportunity to reach every home in these affluent neighborhoods.

The forerunner of St. Lucie Voice was Your Voice, a weekly paper launched four years ago by Steven E. Erlanger, who previously founded and ran the Hometown News.

In mid-2016, in an effort to further strengthen the weekly’s coverage, Erlanger decided to join up with Vero Beach 32963 Media, LLC, which publishes newspapers that are mailed weekly to 37,000 homes in neighboring Indian River County including all of the barrier island.
